Wine Description
This wine is crafted from historic French Burgundian Dijon clones harvested from four individual blocks at the Border Vista Vineyard in Osoyoos. It presents a bright and elegant sensory profile, opening with aromas of citrus, stone fruit, and a characteristic subtle flint or 'struck match' note. On the palate, it is fresh and nimble, featuring seductive textures and fine lemon acidity that are beautifully integrated with gentle oak influence. The wine was fermented and aged sur lie for 16 months in a combination of French oak barriques, puncheons, and concrete eggs to achieve a harmonious balance of fruit and texture.
