Tormaresca Chardonnay 2025

The Tormaresca estate is part of the esteemed Antinori family’s Italian wine legacy. Tormaresca combines classic winemaking with modern viticultural techniques to craft exceptional wines from 100% estate grown fruit, a rarity in Puglia. The estate is composed of two properties: Masseria Maime, located on the Salento peninsula in Southern Puglia, and Bocca di Lupo in the Castel del Monte DOC of northern Puglia.

Wine Description

This Chardonnay is unoaked and presents a straw yellow colour with persistent greenish reflections. The aroma profile is intense and fragrant, dominated by notes of white pulp fruit, such as apple and pineapple, complemented by citrusy and floral sensations of orange blossom and jasmine. On the palate, the wine is savory and fragrant with a soft entry. It displays a balanced freshness and zippy acidity, a characteristic of its stainless steel fermentation and ageing.

Food Pairing

The unoaked, crisp, and fruity profile of this Chardonnay makes it exceptionally versatile. Suggested pairings include fresh seafood and shellfish, such as grilled fish or sea bass carpaccio. It is also a delightful match for appetizers, light pasta dishes, risotto, and fresh or soft cheeses.
