The sensory profile is fresh and expressive, featuring aromas of ripe blackcurrant and blackberry layered with spicy notes of white pepper, dark chocolate, and tobacco. On the palate, it offers a juicy mouthfeel with a full bodied mid palate and flavours of redcurrant and plum. The finish is long and persistent, defined by firm, chalky tannins and a clean, mineral tension. Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine typically has an ABV of 13.5% to 14% and is aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels. The estate is currently in transition to organic certification for its high altitude vineyards.
