Stiegl Goldbrau 500 ml - 24 Cans
Introduction
Stiegl Goldbräu originates from Salzburg, Austria, where it is brewed by the Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg. Established in 1492, Stiegl is Austria's largest private brewery and has been owned by the Kiener family for more than 120 years. Often referred to as 'Salzburg's Liquid Gold', the brewery is known for its 'Slow Brewing' process, which emphasizes gentle maturation and the use of regional raw materials.
Beer Description
This traditional Austrian style Märzen presents a clear, deep golden-yellow colour with a dense, white foam head. The sensory profile features aromas of grainy malt and floral hops, with subtle notes of lemon, grass, and ripe fruit. On the palate, it is full-bodied and finely-malted, offering a honey-like sweetness that is well-balanced by a gentle, refreshing bitterness. The body is characterized by a creamy and silky mouthfeel, leading to an incredibly clean, crisp, and long malt finish. The brew is crafted with 100% Austrian ingredients, including pilsner malt from the Weinviertel region, hops from the Mühlviertel, and pure spring water from the Untersberg mountain. It typically has an ABV of 5%. While Stiegl operates its own organic farm for specialty grains, Goldbräu is not certified organic.
