Introduction

Roku Sakura Bloom Edition is a premium craft gin from Japan, specifically produced in the city of Osaka. It is the first limited release in the Seasonal Festival Collection by the House of Suntory, a historic distillery founded in 1899 by Shinjiro Torii. The House of Suntory is currently owned by Suntory Global Spirits, Inc.. This edition celebrates the Japanese tradition of 'hanami', or cherry blossom viewing, and follows the philosophy of 'shun', which emphasizes harvesting ingredients at their peak seasonal ripeness.

Spirit Description

This gin is meticulously crafted using a blend of six Japanese botanicals and eight traditional gin botanicals, featuring a special focus on 'sakura' flowers and leaves harvested at their seasonal peak. Each botanical is distilled separately in four distinct types of pot stills to extract optimal flavour profiles.
