Very solid and typical basic CdR, with grenachey plum and syrah-y black pepper. Nose shows some beef and dark fruits. The wine starts as a bit savory but has a sweet finish of chocolate and vanilla. The second day, the sweetness mellowed out a bit. The wine is not particularly complex but drinks nicely, especially for the price point.
