Crafted from 100% Australian malted barley and water from the Snowy Mountains, this signature expression is matured in local ex red wine barrels before a final finish in the distillery's own fortified wine casks.
Colour: The whisky presents a medium gold appearance with bright topaz hues.
Aroma: The nose is a balance of sweet orchard fruits, macerated black cherries, and fine biscuit notes, complemented by floral accents.
Palate: It offers an extremely well rounded mouthfeel featuring zesty marmalade jam, rich dark chocolate, and persistent dark berry flavours such as blackberry.
Body: The spirit is described as wonderfully well rounded with a pleasantly delicate and silky texture.
Finish: A long and refreshing finish delivers an intense depth of dried fruit character that lingers on the palate.
