The Mission Hill Reserve Pinot Noir is a charming and classic expression of the Okanagan, displaying a medium ruby colour with magenta glints. The aromatic profile is complex, front-loading notes of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and dark cherries, layered with savoury undertones of rainforest floor, leather, and herbal spice. On the palate, the wine is elegant and fresh, featuring juicy red fruit flavours nicely offset by a firm wood structure and a seasoning of desert sagebrush and anise. It is medium bodied with delicate, supple tannins and a persistent, balanced finish. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir and aged for 10 months in French oak, this wine is approachable now but is suitable for further aging.
