San Pio is a hearty and approachable red wine that would taste great next to a succulent cut of beef. The wine ages in oak for 18 months and consequently delivers a full offering of aromas that spans from bright cherry fruit to exotic spice. There are some budding tertiary tones of cola and crushed mineral as well that add complexity. The finish is firm and long-lasting.
