The nose is rich and intricate, bursting with cocoa powder, zesty citrus peel, and sweet dried fruits, followed by notes of toffee, pastries, and cardamom. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, offering layers of orange pound cake, vanilla fruitcake, and roasted nuts. The experience is punctuated by hints of toasted biscuit and raisins, leading to a long, polished finish characterized by caramel toffee and crushed walnuts. It is bottled at a powerful 54% ABV and typically presented in a 1.5L cello-shaped decanter topped with a Swarovski crystal.
