With a dream to create a California Mouton, Jayson and his partners spared no resource to make this dream a reality. Whether it was finding the perfect piece of land high atop Napa Valley’s Atlas Peak or covertly smuggling in Bordeaux cuttings, all pieces of Pahlmeyer’s history have led to its place as one of the top brand names from Napa Valley.

The Jayson Chardonnay 2020 presents a brilliant straw yellow hue in the glass. On the nose, it unfolds with layers of ripe pear, golden apple, and Meyer lemon interwoven with nuances of honeysuckle and subtle vanilla from well-integrated oak. The palate is rich and creamy yet beautifully balanced by a vibrant acidity, delivering flavors of stone fruit, citrus zest, and a delicate minerality. Medium to full-bodied, it offers a long, elegant finish with lingering notes of toasted almond and crème brûlée.
