Introduction

Highland Park 12 Year Old Viking Honour is the core flagship single malt from the Highland Park Distillery, located in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands, Scotland. Founded in 1798 by Magnus Eunson, a direct descendant of Vikings and a legendary illicit distiller known as the 'Whisky Priest', it is one of the ten oldest working distilleries in Scotland. Today, the distillery is owned by The Edrington Group, which also manages other iconic brands such as The Macallan and Glenrothes.

This iconic expression is matured predominantly in first-fill, sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, creating a profile that balances maritime influence with mellow warmth.
