In the glass, La Grande Bleue displays a luminous, pale yellow colour enhanced by light green reflections. The nose is highly expressive, opening with bright aromas of white-fleshed fruits like pear and peach, mingled with zesty citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit and delicate white floral touches of hawthorn. On the palate, the wine is lively, airy, and remarkably refreshing, driven by a beautiful minerality that mirrors its coastal origins. The initial taste is round and fruit-forward, while the finish is long, elegant, and distinctly saline, evoking a subtle hint of sea spray. This organic blend is artfully composed of Rolle, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. To preserve its vibrant fruit purity and aromatic intensity, the grapes are harvested during the coolest hours of the day, vinified separately at low temperatures in stainless steel vats, and completely spared from oak ageing.
