On the palate, the wine is full bodied and opulent with rich flavours of berries and dark chocolate, balanced by a lifted, elegant freshness and velvety tannins. The varietal composition is a traditional blend of 33% Montepulciano, 30% Primitivo, 25% Sangiovese, 7% Negroamaro, and 5% Malvasia Nera. While ready to drink now, it has a long finish and an aging potential that allows it to develop for several years.
