This blended malt is from the team behind Ardgowan Distillery. Situated on the Ardgowan estate near Inverkip, west of Glasgow on the Clyde. While they are waiting for their own spirit, Max McFarlane, a legendary whisky maker, (ex of Highland Park) has put together the Clydebuilt range of Blended Malt Whiskies.
The Coppersmith is a blend of Highland and Speyside single malts all matured in first fill ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. A balance of sweet and spicy, heather honey, sultanas and very dark chocolate.
