On the palate, the wine has a rich, "voluptuous" entry with flavours of crème fraîche, nectarine, and freshly baked bread. It is characterized by a "tension" across the mid-palate and a long, marine sea-salt finish that reflects its mineral-driven undercurrent. This wine typically reaches an ABV of 13.6% to 14.3%. To achieve its signature texture, the 2021 vintage was matured for 16 months in a sophisticated mix of French oak barriques (42% to 68% new), large foudres, and concrete eggs. Notably, the estate vineyards achieved organic certification in 2021.
