Wine Description

The 2005 vintage displays an opaque ruby and purple colour of immense depth. On the nose, it offers an incredibly complex and refined bouquet of graphite, blackcurrant, and lead pencil shavings, layered with subtle notes of cedar, violets, and earth. The palate is medium to full bodied, delivering an extraordinary balance of concentrated fruit and high-quality, velvety tannins that lead to a finish lasting nearly a minute. This wine is a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. While it is beginning to enter its prime drinking window, its structural integrity ensures it will continue to evolve through 2050 or beyond.
