Aromas of ripe plum, cola, chocolate, blueberry, and blackberry, leaning towards stewed fruit and jam with a well integrated oak profile. On the palate, ripe plum, chocolate, and dark berries lead the way, supported by a plush, unctuous mouthfeel. Through the mid-palate, the tannins build and persist through to the balanced finish. The ripe character of this wine would be an ideal pair for grilled steaks and roasted mushrooms. A rich tomato-based pasta would also play extremely well.
